Long-term experience in agri and foodmatters within Dutch Government. Has been working at central policy level in  the Netherlands as well as at the European Commission. Was responsible for Dutch policy strategy, knowledge and Innovation programs. Has been Head of Imports (port of Rotterdam and Schiphol Airport) at the Netherlands Food- and Consumerproducts Safety Authority (NVWA). Was more recently agricultural Counselor at the Netherlands embassy in South Africa. The embassy is supporting programs on organic farming, plant based proteins and digitization.
