Specialist for Veterinary Public Health, Chief Sustainability Officer (ESG) at Tönnies Group

Dr. Gereon Schulze Althoff serves in the Tönnies Group as Central Managing Director for Sustainability, Quality Management and Veterinary Affairs. In addition, he is the Managing Director of the non-profit association Tönnies Research.

Dr. Schulze Althoff is a Specialist for Veterinary Public Health and holds a doctorate in agricultural sciences. After studying veterinary medicine in Hannover and Edinburgh, he earned his doctorate at the University of Bonn on the topic of quality and information management. His work focuses on the quality, safety, and sustainable production of food of animal origin and alternative protein sources.
