Secretary-General at the Vegetarian Society of Denmark
Rune-Christoffer Dragsdahl is Secretary-General at the Vegetarian Society of Denmark and Regional Representative for Europe & Director of Policy Initiatives at the International Vegetarian Union (IVU). He has a Master’s Degree in Anthropology. He has held presentations and workshops on plant-based foods in numerous cities in Europe, as well as in the US and China.

This paved the way for a landmark deal between the Government and Parliament, which in 2021 resulted in almost 200 million Euros earmarked developing the plant-based foods sector from farm to fork. With the deal it was also decided that Denmark should have a National Action Plan for Plant-Based Foods, which the Government launched in October 2023.
Rune-Christoffer Dragsdahl is a Board Member of the Danish Government’s Plant-Based Food Grant, which supports various initiatives towards more production and consumption of plant-based foods in Denmark, from farm to fork. Furthermore, he is a member of the Steering Committee of Plant2Food, a research and development initiative launched by the Novo Nordisk Foundation.
