Regional manager Berlin-Brandenburg for LeguNet at Leibniz-Zentrum für Agrarlandschaftsforschung e.V. (ZALF)
After discovering the potential of legumes in her studies in Italy at the “University of Gastronomic Sciences” (UNISG), Elisabeth Berlinghof has continued her quest for sustainable food in several projects in Berlin (Food Kompanions, Tiny Farms, Kantine Zukunft, KornLabor). In her masters at HNEE she specialized in food systems and started doing on-farm research for regional chickpeas. Currently at ZALF e.V. she is working in the german wide network LeguNet that supports the creation of regional legume value chain with the goal of increasing legume cultivation and usage in Germany.
